The Summerland Group

The Summerland Group evolved from the vision of its founders, when they decided to move to Costa Rica’s emerging North Pacific coast from the American Midwest. They changed their lives for the opportunities of Costa Rica’s real estate boom in its Guanacaste province, and the gracious, welcoming nature of its people. The Summerland Group network of companies is the map of their experience in Costa Rica and that expertise that is now offered to you.

“Summerland” was taken from the text of What Dreams May Come, a book by Richard Matheson, and later, a movie starring Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding, Jr. In the book, “Summerland” was the name of the first stage of heaven reached by the main character on his way to his ultimate destiny after his life on earth. It seemed an appropriate and poetic name for a group of companies designed to help others “find their heaven” in Costa Rica.
